Thanks to a sophisticated multimedia presentation, Sándor Végh and Bernhard Paumgartner played with today’s musicians.
The Camerata Salzburg celebrated its 70th anniversary in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum Foundation on Friday of the previous week. This was achieved with sophisticated multimedia interplay: archive films projected onto the stucco-free wall surfaces to the right and left of the organ enabled several generations of orchestras to play together at the same time. In addition to the current cast, the former conductors Bernhard Paumgartner, Sándor Végh and Sir Roger Norrington also got their anniversary performance.
