They have not left each other since their participation in the Miss Grand International contest in 2020. A few days ago, Fabiola Valentin (Miss Puerto Rico) and Mariana Varela (Miss Argentina) announced their marriage.

Not only did the two Misses reveal their romance in broad daylight, but they announced their marriage. On October 30, Fabiola Valentin (Miss Puerto Rico) and Mariana Varela (Miss Argentina) took to their social networks to share a video, two days following getting married.
« After deciding to keep our relationship private, we open the doors to you for a special day.. The two beauty queens tied the knot on Oct. 28 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Fabiola Valentin and Mariana Varela met during their participation in the Miss Grand International 2020 contest, in Thailand. The two models had since displayed their complicity on social networks, without however mentioning their romance.
Several of their comrades met during the Miss Grand International contest have also expressed their joy when they learned of this marriage, starting with the defending champion Abena Akuaba (originally from Ghana) and her first runner-up Samantha Bernardo (originally from the Philippines), but also Valentina Figuera (Miss Grand International 2019)…
Miss Grand International, an unknown competition in France
Mariana Varela represented Argentina in the Miss Universe pageant in 2019. She also finished in the top 10 of the Miss Grand International 2020 pageant. Wearing the Puerto Rico sash, Fabiola Valentin also rose to the top 10 of this same contest.
Less known in France than the titles of Miss World and Miss Universe, the Miss Grand International competition was created in 2013 in Thailand. If the young women elected during the Miss France election are not used to participating in this international competition, a few French women have nevertheless participated in recent years: Cassandra de Sousa (in 2019), Marine Comby (2020), Elodie Sirulnick (top 20 in 2021) and Lucie Carbone (2022).
