A simple chicken recipe that diversifies the usual menu.
The chicken is even more tender, including the breast, which usually remains dry and not tasty enough.
Products that will be required:
- chicken (any parts of the carcass can be) – 1 kg;
- onions – 3-4 onions;
- soda – ½ teaspoon;
- salt, spices – to taste.
You can also add garlic for flavor. But you can do without it, because the basis is chicken and onions.
Step by step cooking
1. The chicken is cut into pieces, and then fried in vegetable oil on all sides until a delicious crust is formed.
2. While the chicken is fried, cut the onions. It is not necessary very finely – in half rings or quarter rings.
3. The chicken is removed from the pan and onions are sent to the same dish, which are fried for 4-6 minutes, and then soda is added.
4. The vegetable will gradually become soft, turning into a kind of sauce. When the onion reaches this consistency, the chicken is returned to the pan.
5. You can add salt, pepper, spices, garlic to taste. Cover the pan with a lid and bring the chicken to readiness.
