Mexico City: Mexico’s experienced players Javier Hernandez and Carlos Vela are out for the Qatar World Cup. Both were not included in the preliminary 31-man squad announced by Mexico coach Gerardo Tata Martin. Mexico is placed in Group C, which includes Argentina, Poland and Saudi Arabia. Their first match is once morest Poland on November 21.

The Mexican players will go to Girona, Spain on the 31st of this month for the final training. The team will play friendly matches once morest Iraq and Sweden in Girona.

Javier Hernandez, nicknamed ‘Chicharito’, is now the star of the Los Angeles Galaxy in the American Major League Soccer. Vela plays for Los Angeles FC, the city rivals of the Los Angeles Galaxy.
