Sigma-RH announced on Wednesday the acquisition of the Saguenéenne company Timesphere, setting in motion a collaboration that promises to be beneficial for both parties.
Twenty jobs will be created by 2023. An investment of $20 million over a five-year period.
“For us, it was a very strategic acquisition. What is produced by the Timesphere team are optimized models. In the context of a labor shortage, these are tools that make life easier and meet the needs of employees,” explained Patrice Poirier, President and CEO of Sigma-RH.
He hopes that several employees will come to settle in the region.
This acquisition will help develop the digital district in downtown Chicoutimi.
“Timesphere is one of the first companies that raised their hands to be in the digital district,” explained the mayor of Saguenay, Julie Dufour.
The City of Saguenay wants other companies to follow suit and set up in the digital district.
