Unexpectedly resigns the head of Public Security, Hugo Gutiérrez

Surprisingly, the head of the Ministry of Public Security, Hugo Gutiérrez Maldonado, presented his resignation to the governor, Cuitláhuac García Jiménez.

The governor appointed Captain Cuauhtémoc Zúñiga Bonilla as head of dispatch and Captain Rafael Ángel González Uscanga as Undersecretary of Operations.

This Thursday night, through his social networks, the state president reported that he received the resignation of the Secretary until today and wished him the best of success in future projects.

“The results speak for him, his dedication to the mission and his loyalty to the transformation project,” he said.

The Governor indicated that he was authorized to make public the document in which he states that for personal reasons he decided to present his resignation, delivering good accounts.

“I have to deal with very personal issues that require me and prevent me from spending all the time that this assignment demands, and I have preferred to give you good accounts so that Veracruz continues on the path of increasingly improving the security of society, so that I have made the decision to submit my resignation with effect from this date,” the document reads.

Similarly, he mentioned that he received the payment of their respective salaries and that during his management he did not suffer any accident or illness, “so I do not reserve the right or any action to claim once morest this administration.”

He also defined as a privilege to have exercised public office and thanked the president for the trust placed in him, “hoping to have worthily corresponded to his expectations.”

On the other hand, Hugo Gutiérrez mentioned the results that have been achieved in Security in the State of Veracruz.

All this despite the fact that when I received this dependency, Veracruz was considered among the first five places of the most insecure states and in all high-impact crimes with a very high criminal incidence. I can tell you now, with that foundation, which is even validated by the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP), without any presumption, that I have fulfilled the assignment by contributing my dedication, commitment and loyalty to these results”.

It should be remembered that Maldonado Gutiérrez was at the head of the SSP for almost four years and the state president would have recently announced the outstanding achievements in terms of security, such as the fact that Veracruz is among the 10 safest entities, according to the National Security System. Public security.

Likewise, he has referred that, thanks to the management of Hugo Gutiérrez, the entity has the best police, at the national level, better paid. It has 85% of certified personnel, that is, 4,432 elements.

The CEIS and the C4 are certified by the Accreditation Commission for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) and the Civil Force is a pioneer, at an international level, in dictating the diploma in K9 tactics.
