The body was found by canine units, which assisted rescue teams in the search.
A rescue team in El Castaño, in Aragua, found the body of Freddymar Nieves, 54, on Thursday.
The information was provided by the journalist Ramón Camacho, who revealed that the authorities handled a total of four people who died in that area.
It was also learned that the victim worked as a security guard and had been missing since last Monday, October 17, the date the landslide occurred.
“In El Castaño, so far, four people have lost their lives,” Camacho wrote.
The wife of Mr. Nieves, Yersomina Requena, thanked the journalists from Aragüe for all the support provided in times of anguish and uncertainty, until the body of her spouse was located by the rescue agencies.
