Game news Nintendo Switch: this former Xbox exclusive has just been released without warning

So that’s a surprise we really didn’t expect: Alan Wake Remastered has just been released on Nintendo Switch today. An arrival that neither Epic Games nor Nintendo had spoken of precisely.

The nightmare continues

Franchise resurrected with a remaster released on modern consoles a year ago, Alan Wake will also give birth to a second opus currently under development. So many reasons for Remedy to keep this first game going everywhere… and especially on Nintendo Switch. The firm had confirmed the design of a port last summer but had not yet given a precise date: to tell the truth, it was even the total vagueness concerning the arrival of the title on the nomadic console.

It is therefore with some astonishment that we learn thatAlan Wake Remastered just landed on the Nintendo eShopa few hours ago: its price is 29.99 euros, but a promotion of -20% is currently applied, lowering the price to 23.99 euros until November 9. No physical version is planned.

A true narrative game

Originally, Alan Wake was an Xbox exclusive released in 2010: with a dark atmosphere and a mysterious scenario, the game had made a small name for itself despite obvious flaws. It thus embodies Alan Wake, a writer in lack of inspiration who sees his wife disappear, in a region plagued by shadows and nightmares. A trailer for this Nintendo version is also available above.

A title flirting with horrific action and which remained exclusive to Microsoft for years before Remedy was able to release it last year on PS5, PS4, but also PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series in a remastered version. If you therefore have a Switch, the opportunity is now given to rebuild your culture.

As for Alan Wake 2formalized with a premier traileryou will have to be patient most the news regarding him is so far promising
