Comedian Heo Dong-hwan’s recent status has been revealed.
The story of comedian Heo Dong-hwan was included in MBN’s ‘Special World’, which aired on October 20.
Heo Dong-hwan gained popularity by making a strong impression on a 2004 gag program.
Although he received a lot of love for his unique makeup and punting gag, his heyday did not last less than three years.
Heo Dong-hwan said, “Every day when I opened my eyes, I was exhausted. I got dressed and said, ‘Oh, I don’t have a job.’ I sat down and turned on the TV to pass the time, but depression came and I gained weight. I’ve been living and complaining is accumulating,” he recalled.
He was so stressed that he had to undergo surgery to remove the gallbladder.
Heo Dong-hwan said, “How hard must it have been for my wife. I have to watch my children, and my body and mind hurt. I also had extreme thoughts. I thought I would not be able to live with this kind of pain.
Unable to let go of the gag, he even built a small theater to fulfill his unfulfilled dream. However, the result was the closure of the business due to financial deterioration.
He recalled, “It’s embarrassing, but I owed regarding 300 million won at Heodong Hall in Sinchon, and 100 million won was blown away while I was doing a theater in Busan once more.”
Heo Dong-hwan said, “The thing I was most sorry for was my wife. I only told my wife, ‘It’s going well’ when I had to be strong. I hated myself. I lived hard, but I think I resented a lot because I wanted to suffer such an ordeal.” .
Heo Dong-hwan is living a second life as a used car dealer following closing a small theater for his family.
Meanwhile, ‘Special World’, which airs every Thursday at 9:10 pm, is a high-quality documentary that includes the human stories of stars who have been active in various fields, people with amazing abilities, and stories of our neighbors who are hidden.
