Konami

Except forSilent Hill 2 Remake(Silent Hill 2 Remake), fans of the series have more to look forward to. At this morning’s Silent Hill Transmission event, Konami announced that the Silent Hill universe will be welcoming three new games with completely different styles. The first is “Silent Hill Townfall”, which is responsible for Annapurna Interactive and No Code Studios (representative work “Observation”), which is known for creating narrative and horror environments. There are a lot of disturbing pictures and scenes in the short trailer, and it seems that this should be the one that best fits the temperament of the original “Silent Hill” among the three new works.

The next game, Silent Hills Ascension, is the least game-like, it’s actually a streaming interactive series. The most interesting point of this work is the participation of the famous producer JJ Abrams. Abrams’ studio Bad Robot and interactive programming company Genvid will be involved in the production of Ascension, which they say will bring players “a new entertainment experience that blends community, real-time narrative and interactivity.” According to the current plan, “Ascension” will be officially launched in 2023.

Finally, there is “Silent Hill f”, this game written by the well-known Japanese creator Ryūkishi07 (Ryūkishi07) and developed by the Taiwanese team Mudba Entertainment will be very different from the original. It will take Japan in the 1960s as the background, presenting different stages that are “more terrifying because of beauty”. The platforms supported by this game and the specific release time have yet to be officially announced.
