The relationship between Francine Ruel and her son, Étienne will be at the center of a brand new documentary that promises to be quite hard-hitting.

After his novel Anna and the child-old man and the series Anna and Arnaudtwo projects inspired by her personal story, Francine Ruel leaves fiction for reality in a brand new documentary.

Indeed, on Wednesday, TVA announced the broadcast of rebuild the link, a documentary in which the actress and author will recount her relationship with her son, Étienne, who lived on the street and who is struggling with substance abuse problems. Francine Ruel will also meet Sophie and Thierry, two parents who are going through a situation similar to hers and who are also trying to rebuild the bond with their respective children. It promises to be both touching and impactful.
