HC Franches-Montagnes holds its second victory of the season in the MyHockey League. In a match that was badly embarked on, the Taignons managed to overthrow Huttwil 4-3 following extra time on Wednesday evening in Saignelégier. The HCFM was trailing 3-1 at halftime, despite Mathieu Brahier’s opener from the 7the minute of play. The Francs-Montagnards conceded goals at the worst moments, just before returning to the locker room (19e) and just following returning to the ice (21e then 27e).
Le HCFM s’en sort en power-play
A goal from Thomas Hofmann in numerical superiority (35e2-3) sounded the revolt before Auguste Impose equalized at the start of the third period (44e). It was once more on the numerical superiority, and once more by Thomas Hofmann, that HC Franches-Montagnes won the decision following four minutes of extra time. This victory is good for morale but does not allow the Taignons to give up their place of red lantern. They nevertheless return to a point of 11e and four points from the bar. /jpi
