With “stars” filling its doors and roof.. Watch the first electric car from Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce has unveiled its first electric car, the Specter, which shares the basic chassis with other Rolls-Royce models.

The Specter also features “star doors”, thousands of door and roof lights that were available on previous models.

Its tapered shape is inspired by yachts, as is the “boat tail” model, a custom Rolls-Royce worth $25 million.

And because it weighs more than most SUVs, the vehicle can be driven 420 kilometers before it needs to be recharged.

Specter pricing has not yet been announced but the car will be available in late 2023, while Rolls-Royce has pledged to deliver a full fleet of electric cars by 2030.
