Details of Cabinet decisions today, Tuesday.. and in the names of promotions on the 15th and 14th ranks

Al-Marsad newspaper – SPA: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – chaired the session held by the Council of Ministers, today, Tuesday, at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.

At the beginning of the session, the members of the Council of Ministers highly valued the contents of the annual speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at his opening – may God protect him – the work of the (third) year of the (eighth) session of the Shura Council, and what it included of the constants of the Kingdom’s internal and external policy, and what it achieved (Vision 2030 ) of strategies, programs and projects to create a better future for the country and its sons and daughters. As well as the overall positions of the Kingdom and its international initiatives in support of all that is good for humanity.

Kingdom talks with countries

After that, the Council of Ministers was briefed on the content of the talks that took place between the Kingdom and a number of countries in the past days, including the two letters received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, from His Majesty the King of the Kingdom of Morocco, and related to the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and ways to support them. And strengthening them in various fields, as well as the content of the phone call made by His Highness the Crown Prince to His Excellency the President of Ukraine, during which the Kingdom’s position in support of everything that contributes to reducing the escalation in Ukraine, and its willingness to continue mediation efforts, was confirmed.

Visit of the President of South Africa to Jeddah

The Council also touched on the overall discussions of His Highness the Crown Prince with the President of the Republic of South Africa, and the results of his official visit to the Kingdom in signing agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two countries with an estimated value of more than $15 billion, and agreement on the importance of strengthening joint action; In order to advance the bilateral relations between the two countries to new and promising horizons in various fields.
In his statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session, His Excellency the Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers for Shura Council Affairs and Acting Minister of Information, Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, stated that the Cabinet welcomed the signing of partnerships and agreements by the private sector in the Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman aimed at opening up prospects for cooperation in the growth of the digital economy. Enhancing innovation, developing digital government, expanding technical exports and investment partnerships, and e-commerce activity.

Regional and international topics

The Council reviewed a number of regional and international issues, reiterating the Kingdom’s assertion during a Security Council session on Yemen that it continues to support international efforts to bring peace to Yemen, and called on the international community to classify the Houthi militia as a terrorist group, boycott it and dry up its sources of funding.

The Council of Ministers was briefed on the topics on its agenda, including topics that the Shura Council participated in its study.

Authorizing His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture – or his representative – to negotiate with the Kyrgyz side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of environmental protection between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Technical Supervision in the Kyrgyz Republic, to sign it, and then submit the copy The final signed, to complete the formal procedures.

Approval of a memorandum of understanding in the field of cybersecurity between the National Cybersecurity Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences.

Approval of the national strategy for industry.

Approving the final accounts of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, the General Authority for Statistics, and the General Authority of Ports, for previous fiscal years.

Approval of promotions to the fifteenth and fourteenth ranks, as follows:

– Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Muhaiza is promoted to the position of Director General, rank (15) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

– Dr. Nasser bin Mabrouk bin Muhammad Al-Nuwaiser is promoted to the position of (financial advisor) at rank (14) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

– Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Muhammad Al-Hamdan is promoted to the position of (legal advisor) at rank (14th) at the Ministry of Commerce.

– Mashari bin Rashid bin Dabbas Al-Dabbas is promoted to the position of Director General, rank (14) at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.

– Ibrahim bin Fahd bin Jasir Al-Zakari is promoted to the position of (Business Adviser) at the (14th) rank at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

– Abdul Salam bin Nasser bin Muhammad Abdul Salam is promoted to the position of (Business Adviser) at rank (14) at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

– Mansour bin Abdullah bin Othman Al-Ghamdi is promoted to the position of (Information Technology Engineering Technology Adviser) at rank (14) at the Ministry of Economy and Planning.

– Abdullah bin Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Shabanat is promoted to the position of (General Manager) at the (14th) rank at the Ministry of Health.

The Council of Ministers was also briefed on a number of general topics on its agenda, including annual reports of the Ministry of Sports, the National Program for the Development of the Information Technology Sector, and the National Center for the Promotion of Mental Health, and the Council took the necessary measures regarding these topics.
