British Prime Minister Liz Truss’s ambitious tax cuts have been withdrawn since they took office.
With the promise of economic growth through tax cuts being virtually scrapped, there are forecasts that Prime Minister Truss’s dishonorable resignation is imminent.

Britain’s new finance minister, Jeremy Hunt, has announced that Prime Minister Liz Truss’s massive tax cuts are effectively withdrawn.

Earlier, on the 23rd of last month, Prime Minister Truss announced a mini-budget including a £45 billion and 73 trillion won tax cut.
After the announcement, the value of the pound plummeted and the financial markets fluctuated, and critics of tax cuts for the wealthy poured in.
In the end, even President Joe Biden did not hide the criticism that it was a wrong policy,

The failure of the policy is amplified as a political crisis of the truss and is coming back.
Prime Minister Truss has dismissed calls to resign, saying he will lead the Conservative party until the next election.

But pressure on the prime minister to resign continues within the ruling Conservative Party as well as the opposition Labor Party.
There is also a forecast that 100 Conservative party lawmakers, who are feeling a sense of crisis ahead of the general election, will submit a letter of no confidence to the prime minister.
