The suspects were prosecuted for illegal fuel trafficking, which was processed by hand.
Officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) seized more than 5,000 liters of gasoline from an illegal group, whose area of operation was in the border state of Zulia.
General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez, head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Fanb (Ceofanb), stated this on Twitter, where he detailed the arrest of the alleged perpetrators.
In the military operation, it was noted that the group of criminals was “dedicated to the artisanal processing of fuel.”
Hernández Lárez did not detail the number of detainees, but in the images that were published on social networks a total of four individuals were observed. These appear next to the material that was seized by military force.
Thus, the official confirmed that the Fanb remains deployed “throughout the national territory in the fight once morest micro and macro drug trafficking, fuel, among others.”
