Observed at the pump, the shortage is generating an increase in prices which have reached values that have been more seen since this summer.
While gasoline is scarce in service stations in France, prices are rising. Thus, this Monday, the average prices of the past week were published by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and they show a clear increase over one week.
Diesel is thus displayed on average at 1.9211 euro per liter once morest 1.8035 euro a week earlier. An increase of +6% at the pump. Diesel had not been so expensive in France since the end of August, when a liter cost 1.9488 euros.
Same upward trend for unleaded which cost, last week, 1.6646 euros per liter once morest 1.5914 euro a week earlier, an increase of +4%.
Again, you have to go back to the end of August to find unleaded so expensive in France.
As a reminder, a month ago, diesel cost 1.6593 euro per liter and unleaded was displayed at 1.4876 euro per litre.
