The investigation into the discovery of the body of a 12-year-old girl, Lola, in a suitcase near her building in Paris has only just begun, and the authorities are revealing mysterious details.

The girl’s body was found on Friday evening, following police received a call regarding a “suspicious suitcase”.
A few hours before, Lola’s parents had informed the police that she had not returned home following school had finished.
According to the latest information from the investigation, the girl’s throat was slit and the numbers “0” and “1” were “deposited” on her corpse, without any explanation at this time, reports the New York Post. She is said to have died of “asphyxiation”, and her feet and hands were bound with tape.
The victim’s father, who is the concierge of the building where the family resides, had also reported to investigators that he saw his daughter with a woman in her 20s on surveillance camera footage, reveals BFM TV.

Another witness claims that this woman asked someone in the building to help her move a suitcase to a vehicle.
Six suspects are currently being held, but no formal arrests have yet been made.
Among those detained, we find the woman who appears on the images of the surveillance camera, as well as the one who made the macabre discovery on Friday evening.
The parents of the teenager were informed of the death of their child in the night from Friday to Saturday.
The investigation continues to elucidate this sordid crime which shocks the whole of France.
