In a spectacular meeting between Toulouse and Angers, the three Algerian players (Bentaleb and Abdelli on the Angers side, Chaïbi on the Toulouse side) showed themselves to their advantage.
The TFC opened the scoring in the 10th minute of play through their playmaker Dejaegere (1-0). The latter took advantage of great collective work, but also a superb assist from the young Algerian talent Farès Chaïbi who, with a heel, put his teammate in good condition to score.
Chaïbi’s great assist:
After this Toulouse opener, Angers got some good chances, in particular by Abdelli who had the opportunity to open the scoring but saw his shot repelled by goalkeeper Dupé. In the 33rd minute, the SCO obtained a free kick that Nabil Bentaleb decided to shoot and thus score a magnificent equalizing goal for his team.
Nabil Bentaleb’s splendid goal once morest Angers:
A few minutes following the SCO Angers goal, Toulouse finally obtained a penalty which was successfully transformed by Van Den Boomen. Score at halftime 2-1 for the TFC.
In the second half, bis repeated for Chaïbi who, prolonging the attack of his team, quietly shifted Spierings who did not need to be asked to worsen the mark (3-1).
New decisive action for the Algerian, in very good shape since the start of the season, but also a new victory for Toulouse despite a last anecdotal goal from Angers (3-2).
Also note the entry of Farid El Melali in the 80th minute. The TFC, which impresses with the quality of its game, takes 9th place in the general classification. Angers, for its part, is still relegated.
