Al-Marsad newspaper: The Saudi swimmer, “Maryam bin Laden”, succeeded in crossing the Red Sea, swimming from the Kingdom to Egypt.

The pioneers of social networking sites shared a video of Maryam while she was going through this experience, which sparked a great interaction among the followers who praised their admiration for her persistence, as she is considered the first Arab and Saudi woman to do this feat.

Maryam expressed her happiness at crossing the Red Sea from Saudi Arabia to Egypt, and she confirmed in a comment on her official Instagram page, “It was a dream that she did not expect to achieve, but in the end she was able to achieve it.”

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that Mariam has crossed the distances swimming, as she previously achieved a record in swimming in the Dubai Canal, which is estimated at a distance of 24 kilometers, and she also succeeded in cutting the entire English Channel in a time of 11 hours and 41 minutes in 2016.
