Former StarCraft and Warcraft developers are now making Spellcraft

With “Spellcraft” the studio “One More Game” wants to bring a new title in the action strategy genre. In the alpha test, players can test what this will look like.

What kind of game is this? The One More Game studio is made up of team members who have worked on titles such as Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft and Guild Wars. This experience should now flow into the new title “Spellcraft”. was presented for the first time in spring 2022.

Spellcraft is intended to be a competitive strategy game in which you can let heroes from different worlds compete once morest each other. The game will be Free2Play and will be released on Steam, but there is no official start date yet. The first alpha preview event is coming up soon.

How do I enter the Alpha Event? According to the developer, gameplay preview events are held from time to time, in which interested players can participate. It’s all on Discord.

In addition, the developers explain that Spellcraft should be a game for everyone, which is why they would go the F2P route. However, they emphasize: “Spellcraft is a free-to-play game. We want the game to be fair for all players, so we avoid exploitative monetization schemes. Our goal is to create a game that is not only free-to-play, but also fair-to-play.”
