He drew attention by revealing the situation at the time of the outbreak in an interview with ‘Interview 365’ on the 19th of last month. He said, “Two years ago, I lost consciousness while exercising at a health club in the neighborhood of Hannam-dong, Seoul. Fortunately, someone close to me reported it, and I was taken to an ambulance, and I woke up in the emergency room. After going through several large hospitals, I found a famous doctor in the field. They met and received treatment consistently.” Then, when asked what he would like to say to filmmakers and fans, he said, “I would like to share with you my hopes of looking forward to the next work. Actors are professionals who serve and dedicate themselves to the audience through acting. Because they gave love through movies, they repay the favor and reciprocate with movies. There is only one way. I hope and pray that I will find a work that can impress our beloved audiences and share joy with them.”
Ahn Sung-ki donated 100 million won to St. Mary’s Hospital in Gangnam, Seoul, saying that Dr. Jo Seok-gu, a hematologist at Gangnam St. Mary’s Hospital, is the primary physician, and once the crisis is over, he hopes that it will be used for patients who lack the cost of treatment in the same situation.
