Two months right following the death of Jean-Jacques Sempé, what better way to pay homage to him than to go see Le Petit Nicolas – What are we waiting for to be happy? An animated film, which mixes the documentary story of the creation of the character and sketches from the adventures of the young schoolboy, whose most beautiful quality is undoubtedly to pay homage to the trait of Sempé. A line that is all the more difficult to animate as it is open, delicate and light.
