WhatsApp is an excellent messaging application, there is no discussion regarding that. With more than 2 billion active users worldwide, it is currently the most popular social network of its kind. It is very useful to keep in touch with friends and family, work groups, etc. However, this form of communication is not the only way we can take advantage of this application, it can also be useful to remind you where you parked!

We know perfectly well that today there is no smartphone that does not come with GPS, and of course, it would be strange to see that one does not have the WhatsApp application. Now that we have these tools at our disposal, it’s time to expand your benefits. Next, I explain how to find your vehicle using WhatsApp.

1. Open the WhatsApp application
2. Create a private chat. It is also possible that you use a family contact, a group where only you are, etc. Just keep in mind that if the person who sees it will know your location at that moment.
3. Check that temporary messages are not active in case you want to save the location for more than 24 hours. If you have this function activated, the location you save will disappear.
4. In the chat of your choice (private) click on the clip where the window scrolls to send files, take a photo…, and send location.
5. Click where it says «location» wait a bit for it to update and then “send my current location.”
6. Now you will have your location saved and you can move to another place with confidence, since when you want to return you only have to go where you saved the location and enter it.

USE: This process must be done every time you want to save a location where you were. For example, you can do it in the place where you parked your vehicle so that you can easily find it when you return for it.

This is a simple trick, easy but very useful. It can be used as long as you have access to the GPS network and the more accurate it is, the better it will work for you.
