OSN, the region’s leading entertainment content network, has exclusively for the first time launched the Khaleeji series “Dafi Al-Sha’ar” on Yala channel. “Dafi Al-Sha’ar” is considered one of the most important Gulf series that viewers watch across the Middle East, where it has received wide attention due to the distinctiveness of its inspiring message of goodness and coexistence, and the rejection of evil and disharmony among members of the same society.
The events of the Gulf drama revolve around a group of social stories that embody the reality of daily and family life in the Gulf countries and the Arab world. Viewers coexist with the heroes through a set of facts and challenges prevailing in the region, where the series sheds light on the contradictions such as the splendor of family bonding and its positive effects in enhancing feelings of love, affection and compassion between spouses and its reflection on the children’s dealings with parents and their righteousness to their parents and the constant pursuit of their satisfaction. On the other hand, the focus is on the problems resulting from family disintegration in some homes, and its devastating negative impact on the relationship between family members, and the resulting disobedience of children and the stumbling of feelings of harmony and coexistence within the same house.

A group of the Gulf’s brightest stars are participating in the drama, including Zahra Arafat (Baza), who is married to Jamal Al Radhan (Abdul Hai), who works as a dancer in a popular group, and they cooperate together to face the difficulties of living. Zahra (Baza) shines in the role of the mother and her sacrifices for her children and her desire to give them a better life, insisting on doing everything in her power to ensure their happiness and provide everything they need. Shaima Sabt embodies the role of Modi, Baza’s younger sister, who is affected by social pressures and suffers in her married life despite her great attachment to her husband, to be able to finally be liberated in an open way by improving her way of thinking and her vision of life.
