Nissan Versa debuts image and more endowment for 2023: first photos and data

Nissan Versa mid-life renewal is ready. The changes have just been announced in the United States and they promise to be interesting.

When the current generation of the Nissan Versain 2019, caused a great impact by the remarkable evolution that compared to the previous model. However, the dynamism of the market made the Japanese manufacturer want to apply, sooner rather than later, the first major upgrade to its subcompact sedan. And here you have it.

Produced in the industrial complex of Aguascalientes, Mexicothis vehicle then announces the arrival of an interesting renovation that should soon reach Mexican and, of course, Colombian showcases.

What’s new?

The first thing that jumps out at you on the 2023 Nissan Versa is its new grilla more modern reinterpretation of the feature “V-Motion” that identifies all the models of the brand. Now you have a visual effect of high relief in horizontal lines, with chrome inserts combined with glossy black finishes. Consequently, also changed the headlightsnow sharper.

From the side it looks almost the same, but there are new design rims that contribute to that more avant-garde style. Seen from behind, on the other hand, the only visible novelty is the new brand logo.

The interior also remains almost intact, but promises several new features at the equipment level, at least for the United States. Items like a new 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charger for cell phoneyes built-in Wi-Fi modemwill come to reinforce the endowment.

Likewise, the advanced assistance suite that was previously reserved for the top-of-the-range version (Exclusive en Colombia) will come to more versions. This encompasses forward collision alert, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot sensors, 360° camera and tire pressure monitor, to name a few.

The updated 2023 Nissan Versa will also retain its HR16DE engine from 1.6 liters and 16 valves, with 118 hp of power and 149 Nm of torquemated to a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic.

The news will be fully known in the Miami Auto Showwhich will take place in that North American city of October 15 to 23. Surely, shortly following we will know regarding its premiere in the rest of the countries.
