Kim Je-deok (18, Gyeongbuk Il High School), who played an active part in the Olympics together, failed in her third gold medal hunt.
Ansan won the bronze medal by defeating Lee Ga-young (22, Keimyung University) with a set score of 7-3 in the 3rd and 4th place match of the women’s college archery individual event at the 103rd National Sports Festival held at Munsu International Archery Center in Ulsan on the morning of the 11th.
In the semifinals held earlier, Ansan lost 2-6 to Lee Yun-ji (21, Korea National University of Sports) and was unable to advance to the final.
Ansan has yet to win a gold medal in this year’s national sports event. He won silver medals in both the 30m and 60m, and finished 9th and 7th in the 50m and 70m respectively.
Meanwhile, Kim Je-duk failed to hunt for a medal following losing to Bae Chan-woo (16, Gyeonggi High School) with 5-6 points in the men’s high school individual event in the round of 16.
Kim Je-deok won two gold medals in both the 30m and 90m. In the 50m and 70m, they finished 4th and 16th respectively.
The individual finals of both the men’s high school and women’s college divisions will be held on the followingnoon of the 12th.
In the boys’ high school, Bae Chan-woo and Lee Eun-jae (18, Busan Chego High School) compete for the gold medal, and in the women’s college department, Oh Ye-jin (19, Gwangju Women’s University) and Lee Yun-ji compete for the gold medal.
