B650 and B650E motherboards are now available in the US starting at $160.
There’s still no sign of the promised $125 AMD AM5 boards, but prices for the B650-series start well below the premium X670. The cheapest panels have an MSRP of $159.99, but most designs hover around $200, which may still be pricey for most users.
The B650 and B650E series target hex-core Ryzen 5 7600X and 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X CPUs, available for $299 and $399, respectively. The entry point for the AMD AM5 platform is now $450, and you’re missing out on cheaper CPUs or motherboards.

according to Hassan Mojtaba Man and KaftakGigabyte will offer the B650M DS3H motherboard for $159.99, but Newegg has not yet listed this build. The most expensive B650 motherboard currently is the ASRock Taichi, which is $50 cheaper than the X670E Taichi.
When it comes to other stores, the cheapest AMD B650 motherboards are $229.99 at BestBuy and MicroCenter. Interestingly enough, the following offerings are the only B650 motherboards listed on both stores.
In Europe, prices start at €209 for the B650-series and go up to €569 for the ASRock Taichi.
