The Oilers also issued a statement, in which they endorse the decision made by their affiliated club.
“We are working closely with the Bakersfield Condors general staff and fully support the decision to sack Mr. Drown,” the Alberta team said in a tweet.
Drown had held that position with the Bakersfield squad since July 2018, following a stint with the Tucson Roadrunners organization.
He also worked in the Ontario Junior League, with the Guelph Storm organization, as well as with the Canadian men’s under-18 team in 2016.
