the graphics card RTX 4090 is seen once once more, but this time it is not to share any performance tests. This time we can appreciate the possibilities of overclocking that this GPU can achieve, which is detected with clock speeds of 3.2 GHz and memory speeds of 25 Gbps.
RTX 4090 can reach 3.2 GHz and memory at 25 Gbps with overclocking
We’ve seen the RTX 4090 with 3GHz or 3.1GHz speeds before, but this screenshot of GPU-Z tells us that the GPU can reach around 3.2 GHz with a TDP of 600W, nothing less. Clock speeds might be even higher than this, although it won’t be as common.
What we don’t know is the TDP setting or the voltage-frequency curve, we also don’t know the workload that was used to achieve these results, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to get all the details regarding the performance of the RTX 4090 and what is the OC potential it has.

The memory has also been overclocked, with an effective memory speed of 25003 Mbps. This is an increase of 4000 Mbps over the nominal speed, which increases the bandwidth from 1 TB/s to 1.2 TB/s. We don’t know whether or not this will have a real, noticeable effect on games.
It is less and less until the launch of the RTX 4090, which will be on October 12. The first analyzes would arrive sooner, so stay tuned. We will keep you up to date with all the news.
