The Under-17 Women’s Football World Cup starts tomorrow. The matches will be held in Bhubaneswar, Goa and Mumbai. 16 teams are drawn in four groups.
Brazil will face Morocco in the first match. India will face USA on the same day. India is in Group A. India will face Morocco in the second game and Brazil in the final. Thomas Dennerby is the Indian team coach.
Spain are the defending champions. The final is on 30th of this month. This is the first World Cup to be held in India following hosting the Under-17 Men’s World Cup five years ago. Kochi was also the stage then.
