An esports tournament on FIFA 22 and Tekken 7 games will be held at the SVICC from October 21 to 23, as part of the Ready-to-go fair.
It’s the big comeback of e-sport tournaments at physical events, following two years of online competitions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. eSports Faction is organizing a tournament on FIFA 22 and Tekken 7 video games at the Ready-to-Go Show at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Center (SVICC) in Pailles, from October 21 to 23. Rs 15,000 in prizes will be at stake.
Registration for the tournament is open until Wednesday, October 19. To register, players should go to socials.esportsfaction.com.
“We really missed organizing a face-to-face e-sport tournament. After (the lifting) of health restrictions, we give 200% so that the gaming community can benefit from this large-scale event. You should know that eSport Faction started its activities four years ago during the Ready-to-Go Show. So we are back there. The gaming corner is the place to be for all video game enthusiasts”, comments Dimitry Farla, director of eSports Faction.
In addition to the tournament on FIFA 22 and Tekken 7 video games, visitors to the Ready-to-Go Show will be able to attend other activities on the eSports Faction stand. Cosplayers will be present to ensure the show. Cosplay consists of dressing up as characters from video games, manga, movies or series. Video games will also be on display. The tournament is organized by eSports Faction in partnership with Le Défi Media Group, Logitech, Ax and Kaira.
FIFA 22 is a football simulation game. It features players and teams that compete in real football leagues around the world like the Premier League, League 1 and the Champions League. A new version of the game is published each year in order to adopt the changes made between each football season.
Tekken 7 is the seventh edition of the benchmark for fighting games. These are video games where two players play two characters who are fighting. Fighting games, and in particular Tekken 7, are particularly suitable and popular during esports tournaments.
