National News Agency – The conclusion of the 16th round matches of the Maree Elite Cup for Tripoli and North Clubs

NNA – The first Marei Football Championship, the Elite Cup for the year 2022/2023, concluded with the round of 16 competitions, organized by the Northern Sub-Football Federation, in cooperation and coordination with the Sports Committee of the Association.

These matches, which were held on the grounds of Rashid Karami Municipal Stadium in Tripoli, were characterized by excitement, rivalry and high sportsmanship, and the results resulted in the victory of Al-Shabab Club Deir Ammar over Chekka Sports Club with a score of 1/2. The match observer, Mr. Waad Omran.
And the Tripoli Brothers Club beat Al-Safa Club Tripoli with a score of 4/2. The match was led by Maher Al-Ali, the referee was assisted by Baraa Al-Hayek and Ibrahim Zakaria, the match observer, Mr. Bilal Al-Ziony.

Meanwhile, the Cubs of Al-Mina Club defeated Al-Thaqafa Club Al-Hari with a score of 0-5. The match was led by the referee Hamza Qassem and assisted by the referees Ahmed Hamouda and Ali Barakat, and the match observer, Mr. Hassan Al-Ahmad.

Also, Al-Mawaddah Tripoli Club defeated Al-Mirador Club with a score of 2/3. The match was led by the referee Bassem Shahoud and the referees Haider Haider and Bilal Al-Urfi, the match observer, Mr. Ali Suleiman.

As for Marine Sports Club, it defeated Al-Nasr Sports Club 3-0. The match was led by the referee, Mustafa Al-Dalal, and the two referees, Haider Haider and Omar Al-Othman, were led by the referee, Mr. Wathiq Haider.

Al-Qalamoun Sports Club defeated Al-Majd Sports Club 4/8. The match was led by Baraa Al-Hayek and assisted by referees Ahmed Hamouda and Ali Barakat, match observer Bilal Al-Ziony.
Also, Al-Barq Sports Club defeated Meriata Sports Club with a score of 3/5. The match was led by the referee Baraa Al-Hayek and assisted by the referees Ali Barakat and Khaled Hablas, and the match observer, Mr. Ali Suleiman. Zamalek FC won in Bentebaja 4/5 on penalties, following the two teams tied 3-3. The match was led by referee Paul Khadra, and referee Haider Haider and referee Hamza Qassem watched the match, and it was watched by Mr. Haitham Asaad.

With the end of the round of 16 matches, eight clubs have qualified to compete for the quarter-finals.
