Karl Champagne must receive treatment in the United States. However, these are very expensive. During his first visit, the costs approached $100,000.

“It was the idea of another of our buddies who said: ‘we will at least try to raise some money to help pay for his treatments in the United States'”, explains François Busque. , a friend of Mr. Champagne.

Due to his state of health, the young father might not be present during the event. But he was still able to visit his friends and the organizers on Saturday morning.
