Officials of the Caroní Municipal Police arrested the citizen.
A subject was held by passers-by on Paseo Caroní, in Puerto Ordaz, following an attempted robbery on the followingnoon of this Friday, October 7.
The citizen would have tried to strip a woman of her belongings, adjacent to the Gran Sabana sector.
Pedestrians handcuffed him and attacked him, later alerting the authorities regarding the incident.
The man, whose identity has not been revealed, was arrested by a commission of the Caroní Municipal Police.
