On Friday, the FIFA website released the propaganda song for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, entitled “Light The Sky | Lanterns of Heaven”.
The promotional song came with the participation of 4 Arab faces, namely: the Emirati artist Balqis, the Iraqi Rahma Riad and the two Moroccans, Noura Fathi and Manal Benshalikha.
For her part, singer Balqis expressed her happiness to participate in the promotional song for the World Cup, pointing out that the scenes of filming the song were fun and full of joy.
Belqis added, in press statements, that working with the artists participating in the song was fun, and everyone who participated in the work had a different and distinct style from everyone else.
As for the Iraqi Rahma Riad, she wrote through her account on “Instagram”: “I am very proud of my participation in the official song of the World Cup,” inviting her fans to watch the song on “YouTube.”
Moroccan Noura Fathi expressed her happiness to participate in the song, and posted a clip of it through her account on “Instagram”, and commented with a quote from the song’s lyrics: “Chalo Chalo Chalo! Everybody.”
Moroccan pop star Manal Benchalikha celebrated her participation in the song, and posted on her account on “Instagram” a clip of the song, expressing her joy at the release of the World Cup propaganda song to the light.
It took a great deal of time to prepare the propaganda song for the 2022 World Cup, before filming the song in the Qatari capital, Doha, under the supervision of director Amal Muftah.
