Puerto Rican singer Ivy Queen has sent a powerful message regarding age and women, seeking to motivate the ladies on this aspect.
“I am 50 years old and I want to show other women that they are mature, that we do not have an expiration date. When you know your value, you give it to yourself”said the artist a few days ago in her appearance at an event of the Billboard Latin Music Week 2022.
This message generated several comments from the public, some to praise her for her words, but others criticized her because they consider that she looks that way thanks to cosmetic surgeries.
Some comments that were read in accounts such as ‘La Mesa Caliente’, a Telemundo program, were: “50 years old and a lot of money in my pocket to pay the best of surgeons, like any mija”, “Very pretty, you have money to do all the arrangements and treatments,” “50 years and some are accompanied by surgeries”, “What you say is true, but my dear Ivy, if we don’t have as much money as you, how can we make those arrangements to look regal and young as you look”.
They also told him: “You continue to look spectacular as always Ivy”, “Thus all operated until me”, “50 years and thousands of operations, I want to see them talking when your body has no operations at all, the aesthetics put you pure wooden doll”, “Send us the check”, “Of course if I were singing too, if I were a person with a good income at my age, a whole mamacita would also look at me, but since I have nothing, I look old and very chubby, yes, in good health mental”.

The interpreter of ‘Yo Quiero Bailar’ also spoke regarding how she imposed style with her long nails, something that has remained a characteristic of the artist over the years. However, at the beginning it was not easy at all, according to her account.
“They told me how many expletives there are and today long nails are trendy and everyone wears long nails and I wear regular nails and when people wear regular nails, I wear longer nails. Just as I don’t stay boxed in one place, but when I started it was very difficult to maintain my identity “he maintained in the conversation.
