State Secretary MV Govindan had also explained this at the commemoration meeting in the capital. The party members were also surprised that Kodiyeri’s physical body was not brought to public view at the AKG Center in Thiruvananthapuram, which became Kodiyeri’s karma mandal for half a century.

The party informed that Kodiyeri’s body was affected by prolonged illness and that is why the doctors advised him to avoid long journey following his death.
