Undesirable .. Where is the future of Cristiano Ronaldo?

Day following day, rumors and rumors are increasing regarding the future of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, the English star of Manchester United, who is going through a difficult period since the beginning of the current season.

Ronaldo has only had a few minutes of playing for United under Eric ten Hag, with the Portuguese star having started just one starter game this season, scoring just one goal.

And Cristiano wanted to leave Manchester United in the last summer transfers, but it did not happen, as there was talk of his departure next January.

And according to the global network “ESPN”, Cristiano Ronaldo has become forgotten, as it said that the Manchester United legend is not wanted by top clubs.

Ronaldo continues with United

According to its sources, Manchester United are confident that Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at the club during the January transfer period due to the lack of interest in him, knowing that Ronaldo’s contract will expire in the summer of 2023.

And the global network indicated that United know very well that Ronaldo is looking to leave Old Trafford if he cannot win a key place in Eric Ten Hag’s team.

She stated that the rules of the European Football Association will allow Ronaldo to sign a team that participates in the Champions League next January and play in the playoffs in the new year, despite playing three matches with United in the European League this season.

She pointed out that despite Ronaldo’s well-known desire to leave, United received only one offer from a club in Saudi Arabia from Al Hilal, and this is the offer that both Ronaldo and Manchester United rejected.

Speculation in the summer linked Ronaldo to several clubs in Europe, including Chelsea, Napoli and Bayern Munich, but United have not received any offer from any club in the old continent.

Sources told ESPN there was optimism that Chelsea’s position had changed following Graham Potter replaced Thomas Tuchel as coach, although they mitigated their attacking woes by signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang late in the transfer window.

Ten Hag understands Ronaldo’s position but will be reluctant to let him leave during the January transfer window, as the Dutchman has already been told it is unlikely that money will be made to bring in new deals for the Red Devils until next summer, reducing the likelihood of finding a replacement for the Portuguese striker.

All this will force Cristiano to the option of staying at Manchester United until the end of his contract in the summer of 2023.
