Al-Marsad newspaper: A Kuwaiti young man recounted the details of his being assaulted by his uncle, and revealed what happened to him until he was discharged from the hospital, then the accused fled outside Kuwait.
The young man said: “My uncle intended to kill me following he stalked me inside the elevator and hit me on the head until it came to smashing the skull using a 7-kg dumbbell. He was a doctor and he knew what to do. I was dead and came back to life following 8 months of treatment.”
He added: “According to the forensic report, it caused me a permanent disability of 30%, and I was surprised that the accused was released on bail of 200 dinars, and the case changed from attempted murder to beating that led to permanent disability, then a month later the travel ban was removed from him and he fled outside Kuwait before Judgment hearing.
He indicated that how would he take his right from the accused while he is on the run, and explained that the next session is on 10/10/2022 and he will receive constant threats from abroad, but he hoped that the judge would do justice to him and give him his right.
