Game News GTA 6: this YouTuber had a request for the interpreter of Trevor (GTA 5), but he did not expect this answer!
Almost three weeks ago, Rockstar Games was the victim of one of the biggest leaks of information related to video games. In this earthquake, many elements related to Grand Theft Auto 6 have landed in the hands of players, allowing them to identify the framework of this future hit which will have the heavy burden of walking in the footsteps of GTA V. Speaking of the previous component, this YouTuber had an interesting idea in mind when contacting the actor of Trevor, except that the enthusiasm of the videographer quickly turned into disappointment.
Summary
- A duo of characters at the heart of GTA VI
- GTA V’s Trevor isn’t exactly cooperative…
A duo of characters at the heart of GTA VI
No doubt, the huge “leak” around Grand Theft Auto VI made a lot of noise, and the events around the game grew, between the hundred videos shared on the web at the potential arrest of the very young official until his defense disconcerting to say the least during his court hearing. Until September 18, we had very little information regarding GTA VIexcept that a duo of characters would be at the heart of the story and that we might discover a setting quite similar to that of the city of Vice City. First real leads that gained weight with the videos recovered by the hacker.
In its own way, the incredible leak taught us a lot of things on GTA 6 and players were quickly intrigued by this idea of focusing not on a trio, but on a Bonnie & Clyde-style duo of characters. The association formed by Jason and Lucia therefore challenged the fans, in particular the videographer Hugo One, a big fan of the Grand Theft Auto license, who wanted to stage the passing of the torch between GTA V et GTA VI using an idea that is interesting to say the least. He had planned to get in touch with Steven Ogg, the actor who lends his features to Trevor, so that he can record a message once morest the two protagonists of the next title, which, on top of that, might have been revealed soon !
GTA V’s Trevor isn’t exactly cooperative…
Using certain devices like Cameo, the service that Hugo One used in particular to contact Steven Ogg, it is possible to send a request to a personality, for a fee. The latter can therefore choose to accept it or not, then to comply with it in the event of a favorable opinion. Until then, Hugo One had been lucky since the actor had responded favorably to his request to record a message, once morest the equivalent of 140 dollars. Except that following the acceptance of his request, nothing happened as planned and Steven Ogg did not really respect the script that had been provided to him.
In the idea, the YouTubeur wanted the interpreter of Trevor to record a message for Jason and Lucia, the heroes of GTA VI. A way to pass the torch to a new generation of characters, while telling them ” to be careful in Vice City ” and of ” watch out for the Port Gellhorn cops one of the locations that appeared in the leaks. In the end, the actor did indeed film himself… but the result did not resemble the idea he had of it, so much the actor appeared to him as upset by his request and unpleasant. In response, the YouTuber wondered regarding his demands, wondering if all this was inappropriate on his part or if Steven Ogg’s reaction is a way of embodying his character or showing that he felt offended. Hugo One’s explanations and Steven Ogg’s video can be found in the excerpt above.
