DUBAI, 6th October / WAM / On the occasion of the International Elderly Day, the Al-Nahda Women’s Association, represented by the Al-Lisili branch, organized a special celebration under the slogan “Saray Al-Bayt” to achieve the association’s goals, which serve women, children, community development and promote the building of a cohesive family.
The celebration was held at the branch’s headquarters in Al-Lisili, and targeted fifty elderly women. It included several activities, including a lecture entitled “Happiness and Containment” presented by the preacher Maryam Abdul-Jabbar from the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, then a sports segment presented by the trainer Fatima Hassan, and the “Decoupage on Sheila” workshop with the trainer Laila Al Shamsi and a paragraph Popular competitions and puzzles, the distribution of souvenirs, and special henna inscriptions sessions for older women. It also included a review section entitled “Care and Care” and a paragraph entitled “Sawafna Sweet”, then a paragraph “Its End is Oud”, then Fawala Al-Duha was presented.
Al-Yazia Khalifa, director of the branch, said that the association is keen to present programs and initiatives within its strategic objectives directed to the community in which the values of appreciation for the great are rooted, which is the approach of our great religion. them and appreciate them.
