The Public Prosecution orders the imprisonment of the pharmacist accused in the death of the two girls in Minya Al-Qamh

The Public Prosecution ordered the detention of the pharmacist accused in the death of the two girls (Iman and Sajida) in Mina Al-Basal for four days, pending investigations, which are being completed.

On October 4, Counselor Hamada Al-Sawy, Attorney General, was ill. The latter two were accused of practicing the profession of pharmacy without a license, and the first was accused of allowing them to do so, in addition to accusing the female worker of giving the two victims a drug that caused their death.

Where a report was received to the Public Prosecution today from the mother of the two victims stating that her two daughters died as a result of receiving a drug in the pharmacy, accusing the owner of the pharmacy.

The woman who worked with her caused their death, so the Public Prosecution began investigations, and by questioning the reporter, she testified that the accused pharmacist prescribed an alternative drug to the blogger in the prescription for the treatment of one of the two children. They were tested before the injection, and they felt very ill and were taken to the hospital, where they died.

Accordingly, the Public Prosecution interrogated the accused, and took a set of measures to clarify the truth, including seizing and inspecting the pharmacy, assigning a specialized committee to review its licenses and examining its drugs, and investigations are ongoing.
