Royalty expert Katie Nicholls reveals in her book that the British monarch nicknamed the Duchess of Sussex ‘Tungsten’, reports the Daily Mail.

This is a reference to the transition metal which has the highest melting point of all metallic elements.

“Charles is said to have given this nickname to his daughter-in-law for her strength and resilience,” Ms Nicholls writes in her book.

The nickname is said to have been given following an appearance by Meghan and Harry in their debut, accompanied by Kate and William. The former actress of the show Suits had been so charming in the eyes of the royal family that the comical nickname was given to her.

It is uncertain, however, if Meghan Markle still goes by the nickname ‘Tungsten’ following she and her husband stripped of their royal titles.
