Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Fahd Al-Khudairi revealed a successful treatment for congestion and tonsillitis.
Al-Khudairi said in a tweet via his Twitter account that gargling with hot salty water treats tonsillitis or congestion, indicating that this treatment is successful and he learned it from his mother; Unless the congestion lasts more than two days, an antibiotic is required.
Al-Khudairi continued: “One of the treatments that I learned from my mother – may God have mercy on her – and that was successful for me and my children for inflammation or congestion of the tonsils, is gargling with hot salty water.”
He continued: “Half a tablespoon of table salt in half a cup of hot water under boiling and with a heat that you can tolerate, then gargle with it 3 times for several days, and you will see the result, unless it lasts more than two days, then an antidote is required.”
