Production of mid-engined supercars Ford GT coming to an end: the last cars from the originally planned run of 1,350 units will be assembled at the very end of this year. In parting, the company will make a batch of 20 Ford GT LM Edition cars. This special edition celebrates the GT’s victory in the LMGTE Pro class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2016. Of the features – a silver body color, rich red or blue decor, as well as a special nameplate on the front panel, made from the crankshaft of a racing Ford GT. Biturbomotor EcoBoost V6 3.5 (669 hp) and all other units remained standard.
The Iran Khodro (IKCO) company also says goodbye. The last copies of sedans left the conveyor of the factory in Tehran Peugeot 405 and Iran Khodro Samand. The first one was launched here back in 1992, and over the past thirty years it has undergone not so many changes. And made on the platform “four hundred and fifth” Samand appeared in 2001. These machines have become the most massive in Iran. However, there is no talk of a full farewell. The production program still includes Peugeot Pars models of 2001 (this is the “four hundred and fifth” following the Iranian restyling) and Iran Khodro Soren 2007 (updated by Samand).

According to preliminary data, the new Pilot will retain all the technology of the current model – this is a V6 3.5 petrol aspirator and a nine-speed automatic. The premiere of the car will take place before the end of autumn.
At the “charged” sedan Acura TLX Type S appeared an exclusive version of the PMC Edition, previously offered for others models. These cars are not assembled on the main assembly line, but at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio, where Acura NSX supercars are originally made. At the same time, for the first time in the history of PMC versions, it became possible to choose from three body colors: red, blue and white taken from the NSX coupe palette. Other features include a carbon fiber body kit and additional decor. 300 of these sedans will be produced at a price of regarding 65 thousand dollars – 100 copies of each color.
Key features of the electric sedan published Hyundai Ioniq 6, which debuted in the summer. The initial version of the Standard is rear-wheel drive with a single electric motor (151 hp, 350 Nm), a 53 kWh battery and a range of 429 km on the WLTP cycle. The Long Range sedan has a 77.4 kWh battery. The rear-wheel drive version (228 hp, 350 Nm) can travel 614 km on a single charge, while the twin-engine all-wheel drive version (325 hp, 605 Nm) can travel 583 km. All of these figures are valid for cars with standard 18-inch wheels, but the Long Range version can also be ordered with 20-inch wheels, although in this case the range will drop to 545 and 519 km, respectively. Hyundai Ioniq 6 will be on sale before the end of this year.
Kazakhstan distributor of the company Chery published a plan to expand the local gamut. On the slide, the models of the subsidiary brand Omoda, which will soon enter the markets of Kazakhstan and Russia, are the most interesting. In addition to the already announced SUV Omoda 5 (in Russia it is called Omoda C5), larger Omoda 7 and Omoda 9 crossovers are expected. There are also three Chery sedans in the plans at once – these are the already existing Arrizo 6 and Reed 8as well as the Arrizo 7, which has not yet been declassified. Chery plans to introduce only two sedans on the Russian market.
Avilon, before the automaker itself, announced the imminent start of Russian sales of two new products of the company Changan. crossover Changan CS55 Plus 4.5 m long – this is the second generation of the model: for a front-wheel drive car with a 1.5 turbo engine (181 hp) and a “robot” they will ask for approximately 2.8 million rubles. Restyled same Changan CS35 Plus 4.3 m long is announced with a 1.4 turbo engine (149 hp) and a robotic gearbox at a price of 2.4 million rubles. Cars should appear on sale before the end of autumn.
