The new expansion pack, Biotech, is an expansion pack that can apply biotech elements to characters in the rimworld. Various near-future contents such as brain transplantation due to machine injection, genetic modification, and mechanoid utilization will be added, and you can meet groups with toxic waste pollutants and ideologies formed as a result. Mechanoids are machines that can be used in various fields such as production, rescue, colony management, construction, repair, and farming.

In addition, it is possible to create various ‘xenohumans’ with unique characteristics through genetic manipulation, and contents such as growth-type contents such as pregnancy, childbirth and child rearing, and contents such as the secret society of vampires will be available.

Meanwhile, in the 1.4 update, which was released together, several new elements were added, such as a color custom system for walls, floors, and furniture, a medicine recipe, two types of turrets, and a gas system. In addition, UI/UX convenience, improvement and adjustment of previous expansion packs and updates were made, and bug fixes were also carried out.

The Rimworld expansion pack Biotech and the 1.4 major update are currently being tested and will be released in October.
