The Giza Drinking Water and Sanitation Company announced that water will be cut off from the areas of the following neighborhoods (Al-Warraq neighborhood – Agouza neighborhood – North Giza neighborhood – Bulaq neighborhood) for a period of 6 hours, starting from twelve o’clock at night on Friday, 7/2022/10 until Six o’clock in the morning on Saturday 10/8/2022.
The company attributed the reason for the interruption to the work of implementing the project of Lieutenant-General Kamal Amer’s axis, the fourth part of the northern sector, and at the request of the executive body for the reconstruction of Greater Cairo projects, to connect the new 1200 mm diameter water line to the existing 1200 mm water line and inconsistent with the axis path.
The company appealed to citizens and owners of bakeries and hospitals to manage their water needs during that period, and the company provides cars loaded with clean drinking water to move in the affected places, and for emergencies, the hotline is called 125.
