Good Samaritans save a man’s life in Maryland

Good Samaritans did everything on Saturday to try to end a shooting in Hyattsville, Maryland, by rushing on the assailant, according to CNN.

Police responded to the shooting on Mount Pisgah Lane in Silver Spring. At the scene, officers found a bloodied man who had likely sustained gunshot wounds.

The suspect, Marcus Conway, was detained by several witnesses.

Witnesses report that Conway lay on top of the victim until he came to rest. Police say Conway then walked away from the victim and pointed his gun at his head.

Witnesses tell CNN that a click might be heard when the suspect pulled the trigger, but no projectile came out. A witness then took the opportunity to tackle Conway and seize the firearm.

The 24-year-old man responsible for the shooting has been arrested and charged for his involvement.

Conway is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault with a weapon, use of a firearm with intent to commit a felony and unlawful possession of a firearm, police say. of Montgomery County.
