A leak from the next edition of the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump revealed the results of the most recent popularity poll for the manga written and illustrated by Yuuki Tabata, Black Clover. According to the image, the survey was conducted between the months of March and April of this year, accumulating 229,579 participations.
The results revealed that Noelle Silva He got the first position, being the second time in a row that he gets this achievement. The results were:
- 1. Noelle Silva – 35,999 votes.
- 2. This – 22,535 votes.
- 3 Yami Sukehiro – 17,660 votes.
- 4. Yuno – 17,072 votes.
- 5. Dante Zogratis – 12,814 votes.
Tabata began publication of the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from the publisher Shueisha in February 2015. The play inspired a 170-episode anime adaptation produced by studios Pierrotunder the direction of Tatsuya Yoshihara y Ayataka Tanemura and scripts written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu y Hatsuo Narareleased in October 2017. The production of a feature film is confirmed and its premiere is scheduled for the year 2023 in Japan.

Asta and Yuno were dumped at the same church on the same day. Raised together as children, they came to know the “Wizard King”, a title given to the strongest wizard in the kingdom, and vowed to compete with each other to see who might become the next Wizard King. However, as they grew older the vast difference between them became apparent. While Yuno is able to wield magic with amazing power and control, Asta cannot use magic at all, and desperately tries to awaken his powers by physically training.
When they turn 15, Yuno receives a spectacular Grimoire with a four-leaf clover, while Asta receives nothing. However, soon following, Yuno is attacked by a person named Lebuty, whose main goal is to get hold of Yuno’s Grimoire. Though hopeless and on the brink of defeat, Asta finds the strength to survive by hearing Yuno’s voice, and unleashing his inner emotions, he receives a Grimoire of a five-leaf clover, a “Black Clover” that grants him enough power to overcome the threat. Now they both have a chance to become Wizard King!
